This is an absolute must! Otis' singing is truly stunning. Easily one of his best performances. Does the rest of the album deliver the same? No quite, but you only get to go to heaven sometimes. Otis is one of the few who can get you there. Try it the next time you think your coming down with a cold. fifteen bucks? No brainer.
Smokin'!!!!!!!!! この1週間ほどヘヴィー・ローテーションで聞いているのは（というかこれしか聞いてない）、オーティス・ラッシュの”LIVE AT THE WISE FOOLS PUB CHICAGO”です。全編に渡って若いオーティスのエネルギッシュな歌が冴え渡り、ギターはかなり饒舌です。今とはまた違った、70年代のオーティスならではのプレーが凄いです。
音も、こじんまりしたブルース・クラブの前の方で聞いている感じがモロに伝わってきます。これを聞いているとシカゴ思い出しました。

シカゴ、良かったな.........。Soul Queenでソウルフードを食べて、クラブでブルース・ライブBuddy Guy's Legends、Kingston Mines、B.L.U.E.S.、Rosa's Lounge、Blue Chicago、Checker Board Lounge、Lee's Unleaded Bluesとか。又行きたいです。
