ROOTS.

Some friends to the show yesterday at Billboard Live. They KILLED it. Then The Roots came on and showed why they are the best live hip-hop act ever. Period. I've been going to Roots shows for over 3 years and they are still as great as ever. If you recorded ANY Roots show, on ANY given night, in ANY city...and put that out as a CD; it would be the best hip-hop album of the year each and every time.
This was really cool to be able to check them in a venue. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Black Thought basically did one song. Then the band went into their Masters Of War symphony.
?uestlove of the Roots.
?uestlove has incredible stage presence and basically rocked the crowd all by himself. He did his thing and got the crowd hyped.
That's how freaking dope they are live.
