So now that the summer vacation is over, we can return to the regular scheduled programming of "taroinoue: This is your Life!
Some highlights:
McCoy Tyner is the truth. A true artist and out of all the contemporaries that have risen through the past 2 decades, he is one of my favorites.
As some of you might know, McCoy Tyner has been doing a worldwide tour.
I was able to check out the show from front stage. It was an awesome live show.
ご存知かもしれませんが、McCoy Tynerは今ワールドツアー中です。
The highlight of the show for me was McCoy. I've had the luxury of being there for a brief moment. No hypeman. No electric show. Just McCoy & the band. That's all you really need. He killed it. But just for good measure,Christian Scott himself came out and drooped a few verses. Amazing to say the least.
往年のジャズファンには説明不要のジャズ・ジャイアンツ。コルトレーン時代におけるマッコイの新しさは群を抜いていて、モード奏法に基づくアドリブにも新鮮さがありました。72年以降は力強さを増して、モザイクのような小刻みフレーズを弾き、ピアノの音自体も固めに感じられるようになりました。今回は、そのプレイからは往年の難しさは消え、今は演奏することを楽しんでいるようです。
今年でもう70歳ですからね！

Post show late night dinner at Blue Note Tokyo.
This is seriously one of the best venues to watch live music. Every seat feels close to the stage, the seating is mad comfy, the setting is just beautiful...it's almost perfect. The only drawback is really lack of crowd control.
この開場はライブを見るのには最高です。すべての席はステージに近く臨場感に溢れていて、シートもすごく座り心地がいいし、セッティングもきれいで。。。ほぼ完璧。ただし、観客のコントロールができていなかったのがちょっと残念でした。
「RIDE ON TIME」。そろそろです。
最高のライブでしたが、色んな意味で後が大変でした?!

This week was filled with culinary extremes. And some excellent table mates as well.
Kaori. We should call her lawyer in the future?!
Some day she has one of the best jobs on earth but actually, it's harder than it looks.
Atsushi-san. Super nice and super humble man. A classy gentleman.

Keigo. He is a designer and works for Oglivy & Mather On the side, he does brands like Audi, Philip Morris and IBM.
Audi, フィリップモリスやIBMなどのブランドと仕事します。
休みの日は一緒に野球をします。

今シーズン、もう一回ぐらい野球観に行きたいね。
