Here's a review of what's going on the past couple of days.
A few days ago, I got to witness Bill Evans at Billboard Live Tokyo. This is seriously one of the best venues to watch live music. Every seat feels close to the stage.
Roppongi Midtown.
He definitely did his job tonight.

ジャズ・フュージョン・シーンを代表するサックス奏者のビル・エヴァンスがスペシャル・グループを率いて来日公演。

メンバーの方は、サックスのビル・エヴァンスほか、昨年のＳ.Ｍ.Ⅴ以来の来日となるベースのヴィクター・ウィッテン、ドラムスがデニス・チェンバースという強力な顔ぶれ。
高度なテクニックとグルーヴ感あふれる演奏で、ベース奏者の中にも信奉者が多いです。

圧倒的なテクニックと見事なグルーヴを誇るスーパードラマー。現在はカルロス・サンタナ・バンドのドラマーとして知られています。
しかし、ビル・エヴァンスというひとは、アルバムの共演者もそうなんですが、いつも凄いプレーヤーを連れてきますね。
All in all this was an amazing 1 hour show. Worth every single penny.
Not just tickets...VIP tickets dawg!. But this was a dope one.
これで2,100円。
RICOH GR DIGITAL II、スペック的にも正常進化している感があって良いですね。変更の少ない外観面に比べ性能面がブラッシュアップされていて、より魅力的になっています。
A reminder that not all good food has to be discovered in high-end establishments...Excellent food can also be found in cool casual settings.
This week was filled with culinary extremes. And some excellent table mates as well. Dinner was at the amazing Asahishokudo in Roppongi.

ホテルアイビスの先、ミッドタウンのすぐ目の前の路地裏にありながら、本当に気づかない人は気づかない場所にある面白いお店です。
ジャッキー・チェンも来たことがあるらしいですよ。
It all makes sense. It's really in my favorite part of town and it's worth the trip.
安い・早い・うまい。
Your typical delicious fresh sashimi. Nothing fancy. Kinda ghetto, but delicious in every way possible.
I also had the pleasure to sit down and tallk with Auza and Yuka.
Insane... It was a feast of grilled chickens.
You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, plus the crowd and atmosphere are dope.

Fortunately, it's been well worth it. The conditions are great, fresh air, temperate enjoyable weather. 3 more days to enjoy here...I'll report back soon.
It's indescribable how good it is.
Only the finest beef for my friends.
Damn, no respect whatsoever....

How do you attract the hottest chicks at a party? You have a baby, and make sure he looks like something like Ponta here. Mommy is Lisa who is a pretty cool in her own right.
Also present was Keigo from Oglivy & Mather.
No one left early as it was way past our bedtime, the kiddies burned the midnight oil.
